So, finally Apple launched the much awaited iPad in India and this time to a surprise Apple has chosen to tie up not with Airtel, not Vodafone but the Government-run BSNL for launching this tablet in India.
There are two versions of the Apple iPad, one is iPad with WiFi and another version of iPad will be powered with 3G as well as WiFi. As per the sources in BSNL, its being heard that initially iPad will be available in BSNL telecom circles like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh,Chennai and Kolkata. But soon it will be made available in other parts of the country too.
All the data plans for the iPad will be available without any compulsions and contracts so that users can select the plans as per their choice. Also, there are few voices that Samsung will further lower down its cost of first generation of Galaxy Tab.
